I’m Clare. I have over 12 years experience working with dogs and have lived with a variety of different animals during my lifetime, from dogs , cats, rabbits, hamsters, mice, guinea pigs, goldfish, terrapins, polecats and even a duck! I’ve always loved animals and always wanted to work with them. As much as I love all animals dogs are my passion.
I currently have 6 dogs: A Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross (who is a PAT registered therapy dog), a Terrier x Beagle, A Jack Russell x Pug, a Chihuahua, a Border Collie and a Springer Spaniel x Welsh Sheepdog puppy. And I also have a cat.
I am an accredited dog trainer with the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) and am a member of several pet training organisations including PPN, PPG & ICAN (Pet Professional Network, Pet Professional Guild & International Companion Animal Network)
I am a member of the UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter and certified Dog Trainer with The Dog Training College as well as a UK Sniffer Dog Instructor & Canine Hoopers World instructor. I am also a Certified Pro Dog Trainer.
I have studied dog training, behaviour & psychology for many years and regularly attend courses, seminars, workshops & conferences to keep my knowledge and skills up to date. I am trained in Canine first aid and am fully insured.
121 training is based in South Wales and cover parts of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend, The Vale of Glamorgan & Cardiff.
Classes are held in the CF35 & CF38 areas.
